Who is Netball NSW

Netball NSW is the governing body for Netball in NSW, with currently over 113,000 registered Members regularly playing, coaching, umpiring, officiating and administering netball at all levels of performance across the State.
Netball Central is the headquarters and centre of excellence for the organisation and is revered as the leading purpose built netball facility in the world. It is also the training base of our representative and elite netball teams, including the NSW Swifts.

Conditions of Entry

Netball NSW is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our patrons while at Genea Netball Centre. In support of this, the following Conditions of Entry will be enforced and may be supplemented for certain events by additional specific Conditions of Entry as communicated to the hirer.

  1. 1 Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person. Patrons are admitted to Genea Netball Centre at their own risk.
  2. 2 Offensive, violent, abusive, discriminatory or anti-social behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Such actions will result in eviction from the venue without refund.
  3. 3 Individuals or organisations cannot conduct commercial operations within the venue without prior written consent.
  4. 4 All patrons participating in or spectating activities must pay the appropriate venue entry/hire fee or present a valid season pass.
  5. 5 Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas.
  6. 6 Persons who bring valuables into the Facility do so at their own risk. Netball NSW will not be held responsible for any damages to, loss or theft of a patron’s personal property.
  7. 7 No animals permitted (guide dogs allowed).
  8. 8 The use of mobile phones and cameras in changing rooms or toilets is strictly prohibited.
  9. 9To ensure that patron privacy is maintained the use of cameras including via mobile phones is only permitted with immediate members within your group.
  1. 10 Appropriate sporting apparel is to be worn when undertaking any sporting activity. Eg: gym wear, footwear etc.
  2. 11 Management reserves the right to inspect any bag and/or articles of clothing for the following prohibited items:
    • Alcohol and drugs
    • Fireworks/flares/laser lights
    • Professional cameras, audio equipment or video cameras
    • Sharp objects (knives/weapons)
    • Any other item that in the opinion of management could cause harm or public nuisance.
  3. 12 This Facility caters for all food and beverage requirements. Commercial fast food or eskies containing food are not permitted in the venue.
  4. 13 Exits must be kept clear at all times.
  5. 14 The movement of patrons on the Genea Netball Centre site is subject to monitoring by security cameras. Patrons may be filmed or photographed. In the event of an incident this footage may be passed on to the police.

Refusal to comply with these Conditions of Entry may result in removal from the Facility.
